The theme for our Fall 2025 ENG 101 course is, "Finding Your Voice in Nature: Academic Writing for a Changing World." With a focus on research and citation, we will explore nature through a variety of experiential learning activities to guide our writing.
Not a nature fan? No worries! We will have a plethora of topic ideas for you to connect with, too.

Project 1: Analytical
Project 2: Research
Project 3: Reflection
The theme for our Fall 2025 ENG 201 course is, "Nourishing Writing Skills Through the Study of Food and Culture." Three main projects, with smaller process tasks and activities scaffolding each main project, will lead us through our writing journey. We will explore our own experiences, interests, and ideas and interview vendors at the Mt. Pleasant Farmers' Market to begin our ENG 201 writing journeys, and we will then move these stories into primary and secondary research which we will use to develop action plans that solve problems. Throughout our course, we will reflect on our learning to see where we have been, where we are, and where we still need to go.
